ESFJ Compatibility Analysis
There are 9 ESFJ participants in total, which makes them the 2nd lowest participation rate in my survey, tied with ESFPs. Most of the ESFJ participants don’t have a close companion who is an ISFP, ISTP, or INTP, who are their gold, silver, and bronze matches. It is more likely that these participants have fewer ISFP companions compared to ISTPs and INTPs, by a slight margin. Many ESFJs seem to have intuitive feelers in their social circle, which includes INFJs, INFPs, and ENFPs. Some have companions that are INTPs, ISTPs, ENTPs, and ENFPs. However, a few have companions that include INTJs, ISFPs, ESTJs, ESFJs, ENTJs, and ENFJs. A fascinating fact to learn is that half of ESTJs tend to choose ESFJs as their top theoretical matches, but it is one-sided, as only a few ESFJs chose ESTJs as their best matches.

ESFJ's Opinions on The Theory

The majority of ESFJs believe that the compatibility theory is neither accurate nor inaccurate. A few believe that it is either somewhat accurate or very accurate, while only one ESFJ believes that it is very inaccurate. This suggests that ESFJs are a bit more likely to think that the theory is accurate, while most of them think it's neither accurate nor inaccurate. Some ESFJs who rated it as a 3 out of 5 for accuracy think that it could be somewhat accurate for some people, but not for everyone. One ESFJ expressed that personality traits are important in a relationship, but they aren't everything, as other factors, such as circumstances, health, and good communication, also determine whether the relationship works out or not. Others who rated the theory as 3 out of 5 voiced that the compatibility theory can be a bit accurate since they see that the golden pair is accurate, but do not think that the silver and bronze pairs are accurate. One participant who rated the theory a 4 out of 5 explained that they rated it as a 4 since they get along well with ISFPs and ISTPs but not with INTPs. One individual who saw the compatibility theory as very accurate simply believed that they would have great chemistry with ISFPs and INTPs and that it was intuitive for them to choose so.
Who do the ESFJs think they are compatible with?

Almost the majority of ESFJs chose ISFP as their best theoretical match when choosing only one MBTI type as their best match. Their reasoning for choosing ISFP as their best match is that they would share similar thoughts on some things, are cute, practical, and very sweet, and these ESFJs think they would have amazing chemistry with ISFPs. One individual chose INFJ solely as their best match due to the fact that they believe INFJs can easily understand them. One ESFJ chose ESFJs, ESFPs, INFPs, and INFJs as their top choices because of the fact that they share similar traits to them and are easy-going with their views and actions. Another ESFJ chose their best theoretical matches as ENTPs, ENFJs, and INTPs due to the fact that they just find these types of people with whom they tend to get along well. One individual chose ENTJs and ESTJs as their best matches due to the fact that they both can complement them with their Te dominant function and won’t get overwhelmed by their extrovertedness. Lastly, one person chose all 16 MBTI types as their theoretical best matches due to the fact that they can see themselves getting along with each type, as there is always at least one of each type that they would like somehow. In addition, they stated that other Fe users would probably suit them the best due to similar viewpoints and understanding.

What do they think about Sensors vs. Intuitives?

All 9 ESFJs believe that sensors and intuitives would get along because some of them have personal experiences themselves with having a good relationship with other intuitives. Some think that they can get along despite possibly needing some effort to understand each other’s perspectives through communication and adjustments. One participant believes that they would complement each other well due to having different thinking processes and can balance each other out to see things in a different light in certain situations. Another individual believes that it would be stupid if sensors and intuitives did not get along.
Conclusion
ESFJs believe that the compatibility theory accuracy varies from person to person, while some believe that only some pairs, such as the golden pair, are accurate, while other pairs, like the silver and bronze pairings, aren’t accurate. The majority of ESFJs believe that their best theoretical matches are other feelers, which includes both Fi and Fe users. This suggests that ESFJs mainly prefer other feelers as they may understand their perspective better. The minority that did not choose other feelers chose the ones that have the same cognitive functions as them but in a different order (ENTPs and INTPs) or chose Te users, as they may complement the ESFJ well. Most participants chose perceivers as their closest companion compared to the minority who chose judgers as their closest companion. The majority of ESFJs also chose introverted typings as their closest companions, while a few of them chose an extroverted type.
